Smotrich has already stated Israel will steal the Palestinian Authority funding the UK provides to compensate for the sanctions. When the UK cuts all ties with Israel and stops arresting elderly citizens for supporting Palestine, then I'll consider changing my view, but until then I don't trust a word they say.
