There are currently around 11,000 cancer patients in Gaza. Many of them are able to trace their illnesses back to toxic weaponry used by the Israelis during the genocide.
This situation is intolerable & heartbreaking. What sort of world do we live in thst allows this to go on without a murmur? I’ve donated to 3 different agencies helping in Gaza but am distraught on their behalf!🥲
The toxic gases, the burned plastics and heavy metals from explosions, the human waste, the lack of sanitation and clean water, absence of food and medicine, no plants (which purify the air), vermin and feral animals, insects…Gaza is a public health crisis that surpasses any other. If all the bombing and killing stopped today, this hellscape - into which newborns arrive! - would continue to sicken. Its urgency calls for a global force to detoxify and protect life. Genocide by weapons, starvation…and wholescale poisoning.
None of us who are not Palestinian can imagine what it means to be Gazan.
