For a year, I have travelled to HMP Bronzefield in Surrey to visit friends accused of disrupting the Israeli arms trade. What I found there changed how I understood prisons, justice, and solidarity.
Oh this is unbearable ! Such injustice in this country & with a human rights lawyer as Prime Minister, although not for long. But where are the other voices in our government who should be outraged at this treatment of people with a conscience? 💔
At the moment, what you see is the state trying to sustain its immoral and even criminal actions by contorting the meaning of laws. As this becomes increasingly farcial, they will move to openly preempt laws entirely by declaring other priorities; and to declare longstanding norms and values to be irrelevant, even the ones that underpin the entire notion of human value, equality and democracy.
This is the situation.
Decent people need to resist complying with criminality.
Truly devastating for the Filton activists, they should never have been left feeling that this direct action was the 'only' way left to stop anything being produced/manufactured in this country that aids or enables a genocide. If we had a truly responsive/responsible humane government they should have moved to shut those Elbit scum down based on the feelings of the majoriry of the public's disgust at the scale of devastation in Gaza. However we have allowed the zionists far too much influence in this country, time to proscribe the real f***ing terroists, ban all zionist activity, promotion, fundraising & propaganda etc & make it an instant custodial sentance to be advancing zionism in any way.
Also strip that so called Judge of everything, titles, position, pensions etc. for being a zionist tool rather than an independant adjudicator of law, which he clearly is not! Then release & compensate all those convicted or hounded by the state.
