She currently serves on the boards of Jewish Voice for Peace and the Afro-Middle East Center in Johannesburg.
Dr. Ghada Karmi is a leading Palestinian activist, academic and author of three books, the most recent of which is Return: A Palestinian memoir (2015). Dr. Karmi has practiced as a doctor of medicine, served as vice chair of the Council for Arab-British Understanding (Caabu) and was a research a fellow at the Institute of Arab and Islamic studies at the University of Exeter.
