I had my hair cut today - in peace and safety and the quiet certainty that tomorrow would arrive unbloodied. May your future bring you such days - even as in your memory you honour Abu Salma's memory.

I am incredibly sorry you had to experience that. Your story is written with such feeling and is very powerful.

I could almost hear the bombs. I wish the genocide would stop. It breaks my heart when I read the stories. I also wish we could raise enough money to pay for all of them to leave Gaza until it was safe to return. I will always have anger and sadness when I think of trump supporting this and him wanting to build another trump land. He is a very evil man and so money hungry. But I also hope one day you can remember the good times in Gaza.

I am incredibly sorry you had to experience that. I cannot imagine what you experienced. You wrote a very powerful story. I only wish the genocide would stop or that we could raise enough money to buy all of their freedom.

What painful memories you carry 💔 You have written so beautifully about your experiences that you brought Abu Salma alive for me, and I mourn him with you.
